1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing in ORBIT ZERO is:

Z. Begatovic

Email: support@begat.eu

2. Overview

ORBIT ZERO can be played without an account. The app contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking services and no purchases with real money. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties.

3. Data that stays on your device

Game progress, stars, gems, settings, your pilot name and your recent ranked runs are stored locally on your device – they only reach our server if you use the cloud save (section 5). Uninstalling the app deletes this data.

4. Online leaderboard (Ranked mode only)

When you finish a ranked run or open the ranked lobby, the app connects to our server (orbit-zero.begat.eu). The following data is processed:

Your pilot name, best wave and kills are visible to all players on the leaderboard, so please do not use your real name.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the leaderboard you use by playing Ranked) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (security and abuse prevention). The connection is encrypted with HTTPS.

5. Cloud save (optional)

Only if you tap "Back up" in Settings is your save game (progress, stars, gems, upgrades, statistics, pilot name) stored on our server together with your player ID. You receive a transfer code to restore it on another device. After that, the backup is updated automatically after each mission. Anyone who knows the code can load the save game, so keep it private. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. "Delete online data" also deletes the backup.

6. Retention

Leaderboard entries and cloud backups are kept as long as the leaderboard is operated or until you delete them. IP addresses are only processed briefly in memory or in technical server logs and are deleted regularly.

7. Deleting your online data

You can delete your online data at any time: Settings → "Delete online data". Your entry, all related runs and your cloud backup are removed from the server immediately. You can also request deletion by email to support@begat.eu (please include your pilot name). More information: https://orbit-zero.begat.eu/delete

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Contact support@begat.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

9. Children

ORBIT ZERO is intended for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 16, please ask your parents before using the online leaderboard.

10. Changes

We update this policy when the app or the law changes. The current version is always available in the app and at https://orbit-zero.begat.eu/privacy
